THE SHETLAND PONY STUD – BOOK SOCIETY BREED CLASSES
Run under the Rules of The Shetland Pony-Stud Book Society.

 

Three year old fillies with foals at foot may not be shown. All foals must be a minimum of three weeks old on the day of the show.

Children under 14 years old may not show colts (excluding foals) or stallions in the In Hand classes.

In the interests of safety, hard hats must be worn by all handlers aged 14 years or under in In Hand.

Class 55 In Hand Registered Shetland Stallion four years old or over.

 

Class 56 In Hand Registered Shetland Barren mare or gelding four years old or over.

 

Class 57 In Hand Registered Shetland Yearling colt, filly or gelding.

 

Class 58 In Hand Registered Shetland 2 or 3 year old filly or gelding.

 

Class 59 In Hand Registered Shetland Brood Mare in foal or with foal at foot.

 

Class 60 Pure Bred foal of the Above Class & must be eligible for registration.

Junior Shetland Championship 1^st and 2^nd prize winners from classes 60, 57 and 58 will compete.

Shetland Championship. 1^st and 2^nd prize winners from classes 55 to 60 to compete. Champion and Reserve Champion will go forward to The Supreme Mountain and Moorland Show Championship, and The NPS/Kilmannan Stud M & M In Hand Silver Medal Rosette Championship
