Special event
Hexham Native Horse and Pony Show committee invite you to lunch, a drink and a chat at Linnel Wood Hexham on Sunday March 15th at 12.30pm.
After cancelling half of the show in 2007 and having a large bill for land repair and towing vehicles in 2008 the show is now in the RED. What we need, is your help to keep us going. The Show is non profit making and makes donations every year to The Grass Sickness Fund and to The North Eastern Air Ambulance. So, we would hugely appreciate your support in helping us to keep the show going. In return we will give you some entertainment and a good lunch at Linnel Wood.
There will be a short talk by Mrs Sheila Brooks, chairman of the National Pony Society followed by a question and answer session. There will be a a small selection of stallions on view in the stables plus the odd fell in the fields! The stallions currently promised are Linnel Reynard Fell Knightley Park ID Sports Horse, Lunesdale Redstart Fell LimeJuice Exmoor and Rosenaharley Laughris Connemara.
There will be a raffle and donations of prizes are welcome! An Information and For Sale/Loan and Wanted Board will be in place on the day for information such as stallion cards, ponies/saddles for sale and show info/schedules, if you would like to send any information in advance or are unable to come, please contact Juliet Rogers on 01434 673109 or at julietrogers@dial.pipex.com
