THE FELL PONY SOCIETIES NORTH EAST SUPPORTERS GROUP CLASSES
The following classes are, run on behalf of the FPS North East Area Supporters Group. They will be run under NPS Rules. They are open to all exhibitors but it is hoped that area members will support these classes and NOVICE ponies, riders and handlers are particularly welcome. The FPS North East Area Group ‘summer picnic’ will take place before the judging of these classes and championship. Parking for Fell Ponies will be available adjacent to Ring 6 dependent on the weather. Please remember to exit through the farm and not through any collecting rings.The Champion In Hand Fell Pony will qualify to represent the FPS North East Area Supporters Group to compete for the BEWCASTLE BOY BLUE TROPHY, held at the FPS Southern Breed Show in Oxfordshire on September 12th 2010, provided the pony’s owner is a member of the FPS and resident in The North East Area. In the event of previously qualifying or the owner does not fulfil the above requirements, the qualification will pass to the reserve, but may go no lower than third place. The other Area Qualifier for this area will be held at Lanchester Show in July 2010

Class 61 In Hand Registered Fell Pony, four years old and over
Class 62 In Hand Registered Fell Pony, three or under. All foals must be three weeks old or over on the date of the show.
Class 63 Ridden Registered Fell Pony, four years old or over. Rider any age. The 1st placed ridden pony will qualify for the NPS/www.horsequest.co.uk M&M Ridden Silver Medal Rosette Championship.
In Hand Fell Championship 1st and 2nd prize winner from classes 61 & 62 to compete. The Champion will go forward to the NPS/Kilmannan Stud M & M In Hand Silver Medal Rosette Championship.
Fell Championship 1st and 2nd prize winners from classes 61 to 63 to compete. The Champion and Reserve Champion will go forward to The Supreme Mountain and Moorland Show Championship, and also the Champion and Reserve champion if In Hand will qualify for the NPS/Kilmannan Stud M&M In Hand Silver Medal Rosette Championship.
