THE BRITISH CONNEMARA PONY SOCIETY’S BREED CLASSES
 
To be run under The Rules of the British Connemara Pony Society.

THE TAM O’SHANTER IN-HAND, YOUNGSTOCK & BROODMARE CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER.  The highest placed yearling in class 70,  the highest placed two year old in class 71, and the Highest placed Broodmare with foal at foot in class 72 will qualify for the final to be held at the BCPS In-Hand Breed Show at Malvern in July  2011

THE ROSMEEN RIDDEN CHAMPIONSHIP. The Champion Ridden Pony will qualify for The Rosmeen Ridden Championship to be held at the BCPS Ridden Show, Warwickshire Agricultural College, Moreton Morrell, Warwickshire, in July 2011. The first placed or highest placed registered pure bred Connemara (Not exceeding 148cm) to qualify.  Qualification, to pass no lower than 3rd place.  Exhibitors do not need to be members of the British Connemara Pony society to qualify but MUST be a member of the BCPS in order to compete in the final. 
 
THE BRITISH CONNEMARA PONY SOCIETY will hold a FILLY INSPECTION at approx 12.30pm in the Outdoor Arena.  Please contact the Society to book your inspection.

Class 68 Novice Ridden Registered Connemara Stallion, mare or gelding 4 years old or over
Rider any age. The Pony must not have won a Ridden Connemara or Mixed Mountain and Moorland Class before January 1st of the current year.  To be ridden
in a suitable snaffle bridle. Ponies entering class 69 may not enter this class. 

Class 69 Ridden Registered Connemara Stallion, mare or gelding 4 years old or over.  Rider any age. 
 
Ridden Connemara Championship  1st and 2nd prize winners from classes 68 and 69 to compete. Champion and Reserve Champion will go forward to The Supreme Mountain and Moorland Show Championship, and also the NPS/www.horsequest.co.uk M & M Ridden Silver Medal Rosette Championship
 
Class 70 In Hand Registered Connemara yearling colt, filly or gelding.

Class 71 In Hand Registered Connemara 2 or 3 year old filly or gelding.

Class 72 In Hand Registered Connemara Brood Mare in foal or with foal at foot.

Class 73 Pure Bred Foal of the Above & must be eligible for registration

Class 74 In Hand Registered Connemara Stallion, Barren Mare or gelding 4 years old or over.
 
Connemara In Hand Championship 1st & 2nd prize winners from Classes 70 to 74 compete.  Champion and Reserve will go forward to The Supreme Mountain and Moorland Show Championship, and also The NPS/Kilmannan Stud M & M In Hand Silver Medal Rosette Championship.

OVERALL CONNEMARA CHAMPIONSHIP   Ridden and In Hand Champions and Reserve Champions to compete.
